Take a step back into tradition
Archie and Akhil have always enjoyed stepping into the unknown and enjoying their sense of adventure, but in 2018, a certain trip to the picturesque indian himalayas, ladakh led them down the path of masala chai.
They fell in love with the drink, and were amazed at how it created a space where people from all walks of life could gather. It didn’t matter whether it was brewed by a streetside chaiwala or someone at a family gathering - not to mention it was absolutely delicious!
They opened their own market stall in London, combining Akhil's grandma's recipes with Archie's street food experience, and sourcing premium tea and spices directly from Assam and Kerala, giving people a truly authentic experience and reconnecting the word ‘chai’ with its roots.
Those who searched far and wide for the golden liquid found on the streets of India can now easily brew it in the comfort of their own home, and get whisked away to the land of fragrance and flavor.
