Big taste, small beginnings

Zukali Mexican Gourmet was born out of the founders’ passion for making food and salsas at cookouts with friends and family. One of the dishes they enjoyed preparing most was roasted jalapeños. They’d fire-roast them on the grill, add some lime juice and a dash of salt, and serve them up for people to enjoy. And they did! After much encouragement from friends and family they thought, why not sell them?

They began experimenting with different spices until they perfected the recipe for their first born in the product line: Fire Roasted Jalapeños, marinated in a blend of soy sauce, lime juice, and spices.

At Zukali, flavor is foremost. They believe in quality food toppings that are both authentic and distinctive. They may be small, but they hope to make a big impression.
